The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assesses ability

OSCE tests clinical knowledge & skills like vital signs, calculating drug dosages, IM & SC Injections and Basic Life Support. OSCE can be appeared only at approved centres in UK. It is not compulsory to clear OSCE for nurses to work in care homes in UK. So after IELTS & CBT you can start working in care homes in UK & earn a salary of more than 2 lakh Rs. per month. GNM and above qualification (BSc, PBBSc, MSc, PhD) is enough for nurses to work in UK. Any experience is not essential.

Eventually, after clearing OSCE & getting PIN (Personal Identification Number) with NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council), nurses have a choice of continuing working with care homes or shift to hospitals under NHS.
